Halloween is over for now, but the season for scary movies never stops. Watch the Norwegian horror short Trick AND Treat from horror director Severin Eskeland now.
Released online in the middle of October, Trick AND Treat (sic) is a 9 minute Halloween themed short film from the director of Lyst and Detour, Severin Eskeland. A couple’s halloween night takes a bit of a nasty turn – but you won’t learn more about the story unless you watch it right here, right now. The short is full of fun fright film references, can you spot them all?
Very few Halloween themed films are made in the Nordic area. In fact, at the moment I can’t think of one, except this brand new short. Halloween is not a traditional celebration in Scandinavia, although the last 20 years it has gained popularity among children as well as adults. Maybe mostly as an excuse to beg for sweets and to binge watch horror movies.
The film is in Norwegian language but has English subtitles.
